About the Artwork

In a world that often feels overwhelming, Takayna has become a sanctuary, a place where the river’s gentle rhythm offers the peace I long for. It’s not just the river, but what it represents—the stillness I crave amid life’s complexities. I aim to safeguard these moments, often fragile and fleeting, an opportunity to capture its serenity, not just for myself, but for others who may never experience it. Creating this piece has been my way of preserving this sense of tranquillity, offering a quiet refuge and a reminder of what’s truly worth holding onto.
