About the Artwork

Made on quiet winter days, in a fern rich gully. I heard someone on the radio quote a Rilke line that I can't find "and one sees to the beginning of time". It seemed so apt. But it isn't me or us, it is the ferns that have been here, seeing, from the beginning of time. I think of them frolicking and dreaming, and watch how they intersect and interlace with one another through space.
