About the Artwork
During times of dramatic change, our connection to place deepens, attuning us to the sacred beauty of nature. Like a landscape painter revisiting the same vista to capture shifts in light, mood, and season, these works carry the hallmarks of a pilgrimage. Through this engagement, I record the passage of time, digitally manipulating each image by overlaying multiple works to document subtle changes. Reflection explores the temporal, observing the effects of light and air where the sky and water meet on the horizon. Time is intrinsic to the work, capturing the first moments of light at dawn.
