Size: 150 cm x 120 cm

About the Artwork
The sea is not really mauve but sometimes when I am diving on a reef it does seem to take on a strange pale purpley mauve glow. This painting explores how you can make intermittent marks to suggest the coral itself and tiny schools of cadmium fish darting just below the surface.
