Bush medicine seeds and Frew River. Frew River running, bush flowers everywhere, them bush seeds everywhere, we eat em’. We smash them seeds, make damper. We go bush – Epenarra (Wutunugurra), here (Owairtilla) – we get them seeds. Get them green leaf too, boil em’ up. Sweet potato underneath, flowers on top. Sugarbag honey from tree, the white tree. Kids follow us, teach em’ when we go out walking, hunting, painting. Show em’ bush tucker everywhere, show em’ painting there again. That purple and blue (depicted), we get em’ from coloured water stone for ceremony, body paint.
